Charlene completed her education through the Taft College Dental Hygiene program, and her overall experience in the field spans 30+ years so far. Today, she’s proud to provide dental hygiene with compassion and integrity. Plus, it’s great to work with such excellent teammates and a wonderful doctor! She currently lives in Bakersfield with her husband, and they have one son. Her free time is spent hanging out with loved ones, going to the movies, visiting theme parks, and taking trips to the beach.

Another native of Bakersfield, Monique is responsible for ensuring that the dental office runs smoothly. After taking courses at Kaplan College, Monique works coordinating the tasks of her fellow team members, and interacting with patients at the front desk. Monique knows she's great at her job because she's easygoing and loves speaking with patients. When asked why she loves the dental office that she works for, she simply stated that it's the staff who makes everything enjoyable. n her spare time, Monique loves being with her three children, loving husband, and watching her daughters play softball.

Margie’s dental career impressively spans over 40 years so far, and she always works hard to educate patients about oral health while assisting Dr. Carlson. Outside of working hours, she spends plenty of time with her big family here in Bakersfield, which includes her husband, stepdaughter, stepson, three adult children, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren. As for hobbies, she likes to attend church with her husband, tackle DIY home projects, discover treasures at estate sales/antique malls, and visit the beach and the mountains.

Born and raised right here in Bakersfield, CA, Genesis studied at Bakersfield College and Taft College. Today, she is a dental hygienist with a communication certificate. So far, she loves building genuine relationships with each patient and working alongside a team that has the same core values as she does. In fact, those are her two favorite parts of her job! She and her high school sweetheart recently got married, and they love traveling, surfing, trying new foods, and shopping together. She also loves getting together with her whole family each Sunday after church to eat one of her mom’s homecooked meals.

Sarah may be one of the newest members of our team, but she has an impressive 20+ years of experience in the dental field. Originally from Frazier Park, she attended San Joaquin Valley College and is now a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant. For her, the best thing about her job is helping each patient maintain a healthy smile. Away from the office, she loves spending time with her husband and their daughter. In addition to being a part of a Ford Mustang car club, they love taking their trailer camping together in their free time.
